Her assigned placement is a shelter for rescued monkeys and the new scenery is the perfect place for her to start anew, until it's not.

Despite having been taken under the permanent worker's wing, there is something haunting about the place. There are faint screams from the monkey's, late night sacrifices in the lake, eerie noises coming from outside her cabin, and the land has begun to return to its original state. Soon her summer in Atlas will provide a weirder headline than any Floridian could imagine.

If Blake Crouch writes it, I will read it. Why? Because he has written what boggles my mind the most and also has written the novels that expand upon my science fiction thoughts in a way I appreciate. In Upgrade, I expect another engaging read and I am so ready for it. Upgrade revolves around genome hacking and the power one individual has to stop a massive invasion on genetics. The question is, why does the protagonist - Logan, hold that power and what does it mean for the future of mankind?
