You'll Be the Death of Me

By: Karen M. McManus

Release Date | November 30

Genre | Mystery

From the author of One of Us Is Lying and The Cousins comes another high school mystery that I am so stoked to read. I have been looking forward to this novel all year and I do hope it lives up to my expectations and my expectations are a stereotypical, cheesy, high school drama that is enjoyable to read.

The only thing Ivy, Mateo, and Cal now have in common is the school they attend and the start of a terrible day. Ivy's day has been turned upside down after losing her student council spot to the class clown. Mateo is exhausted from working two jobs and Cal has been stood up - again. None are eager to face the day ahead and when all three stumble upon each other in the parking lot, they agree to pull a Ferris Bueller and have a great day in the city.

A day that turns into anything but wonderful when they follow another student playing hooky to the scene of his own murder. Their day has gone from bad to worse especially when it is discovered that all three have a connection to the murdered teen and that all three are harbouring secrets.
